AIDS Hope…
During our year and a half in South Africa, God opened our eyes to see the reality about the HIV/AIDS pandemic, how it is destroying the lives of thousands (millions in reality) of people and affecting all areas of society. Our hearts were particularly touched by the effect it has on children; the increasing amount of orphans and their desperate need for love and care. We could also experience God working through the lives of those willing to serve and make a difference in the lives of the infected and affected. Churches, organisations and individuals working together, showing God’s love in the midst of hopelessness… We were so blessed to be part of the AIDS Hope ministry and to be involved in raising awareness, educating, training and caring for those infected and affected in partnership with other organisations.
This experience has changed our lives and our goal is to encourage people to take hands and help fight this battle against HIV/AIDS.
